FAQs

  • Your pet photography session is tailored to you and as such, the location can be of your choosing provided it is suitable. Most sessions take place in a woodland setting, however locations such as the beach, city, park, or even your home are also an option.

  • Nervous pets are very welcome! Sessions will take place at a location where we can be confident that you and your pet feel comfortable and safe. Under no circumstances will they be put under pressure or be made to feel uncomfortable and stressed - with a background in canine behaviour you can feel happy your dog is in good hands.

  • Not a problem at all! Most dogs I photograph remain on lead throughout the session - safety first! With a little photoshop magic I can remove the lead in post-processing.

  • Unfortunately some things are out of our control, and the weather is one of those things. If there is adverse weather on the day of the session, we will rearrange your session free of charge.

  • Your images will be edited to a high standard to create something special, and therefore it may take between 2-4 weeks for you to receive your final images. Any additional artwork/prints may take up to 6 weeks.

  • I photograph any pet and their people should they wish to be included; dog photography/equine photography/cat photography & more. I am also more than happy to travel further afield.

  • Most pets are not ‘born models’ and this is absolutely fine! Our aim is to capture your pet’s personality - there is no pressure at all to perform certain tricks or poses. There are many tricks we can use to capture a beautiful portrait of your pet. Having said that - it can be useful to plan for the photoshoot and start teaching your dog some basic commands such as sit, lie down and stay - as this will help us on the day.

  • Yes, absolutely! Some horses do not cope well in public places, so yard sessions are preferred. I will scout the location beforehand for any suitable photo opportunities - ‘fine-art’ black/coloured and/or textured backgrounds can be a great option in these instances where the surroundings are perhaps not the most exciting.
